Directed by Antony Soni, the film Priyan Ottathilanu hit theatres on June 24. The film stars Sharafuddin, Aparna Das and Nyla Usha in the lead roles. Aparna Das also starred in the Vijay-Nelson film Beast before Priyan Ottathilanu.
In an interview, Aparna Das shared her experiences of acting with Vijay in Beast and sending him a message. "Everyone should wait and see. What message did Vijay send to Aparna and what did he reply back to?" the presenter asked.
“Nothing. That said, it's for Click byte, and nothing else. I will send a message to Sir asking Hi, Hello, How are you. Sir will send back a message asking Fine Ma, How are you and nothing else. I'm always texting sir. If I send a message like Sir, So Long, Missing You, he will say Hi Ma How Are You. He is a very sweet person. We will have a love for him even if he has not done anything to us or talked to us. He is someone who feels that way. I feel like someone in the family. Apart from the superstar Vijay, he is a so simple as a person. I have a terrific liking for it. He is a bit reserved, somewhat silent. It is not intentional, it is his nature;”said Aparna.
The film 'Priyan Ottathilanu' also stars Biju Sopanam, Hakim Shahjahan,and Anarkali Marikkar. Santosh Trivikraman produces the film 'Priyan Ottathilanu' under the banner of Wow Cinemas. P.N. Unnikrishnan moves the camera for the film 'Priyan Ottathilanu'. Abhayakumar K and Anil Kurian wrote the screenplay and dialogues for the film.
