'Thiruchitrambalam' First-Day Collection: Dhanush Starrer Crosses Rs 6 Crores In Tamil Nadu

'Thiruchirambalam,' directed by Mithran Jawahar and starring Dhanush, Nithya Menon, Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bharathiraja, and Prakash Raj, among others, was released in theatres on Thursday (Aug 18). According to estimates, 'Thiruchitrambalam' has reached Rs 6 crores on a working day in Tamil Nadu. Dhanush has wowed moviegoers with his acting abilities, and great reviews for the film have flooded social media. The family drama has earned more than Rs 6 crores in Tamil Nadu, bringing the film's total earnings to close to Rs 9 crores. Even if it is not Dhanush's biggest collection, it is a tremendous figure for a medium-budget picture released on a working day.

Instead of the typical Friday release, the creators of 'Thiruchitrambalam' chose a Thursday release to have a more extended first weekend and take advantage of the holiday Friday (Krishna Janmashtami). As a result, the box office results for the next three days will be greater than the first, and the picture has already received some additional screenings. The storyline by filmmaker Mithran Jawahar was remarkable, and the picture earned good reviews.
