Actor-filmmaker Thiagarajan has enlisted Anirudh and Vijay Sethupathi for a song in his upcoming film, Andhagan. Prabhu Deva will choreograph the song, including the film's lead actor, Prashanth, shaking a leg.
“Santhosh Narayanan had composed the song — Dora Bujji Paarra Machi — a while ago, and we felt that Anirudh and Vijay Sethupathi would be apt to render this one. It’s a fusion of sorts — peppy, with a folk background — and is penned by Ekadasi and Uma Devi. While Santhosh got Vijay Sethupathi to record his portions a while ago, Anirudh completed his bit about four days ago. We recorded it with him at his studio,” says Thiagarajan.
Prabhu Deva will choreograph the song, which will be shot over four days in Chennai beginning November 10. "We're putting together a colorful set for the song." In addition to, Prashanth, Simran, Priya Anand, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, KS Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, Oorvasi, and other cast members will appear in the song. Vijay Sethupathi is now filming one of his films; if he is in Chennai, he will also film for it. We've also requested Anirudh to appear in the video. Prabhu master is doing this one as a pucca dance number, which will appear towards the end of the film,” he informs, adding, “We finished the film’s shoot four months ago and were waiting to complete this song alone. It took time because it involves a lot of big names and is being done on a massive scale. But I am confident that it will become viral, like the Malaiyiru Nattamai number from Mambattiyan.”
