There is no truth in Orey Bujjiga skipping the theatrical release; new release date will get announced soon

The coronavirus pandemic has severely affected the film industry. All the productions got stalled. Releases got postponed. Running film's box office results got affected due to the sudden shut down of the theatres. The film industry has never witnessed such a loss since its inception. Even in the Telugu film industry, many films' release dates got pushed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We still don't know when will they hit the theatres. Meanwhile, it is being rumored from the past few days that Raj Tarun's upcoming film Orey Bujjiga will not have a theatrical release anymore and it will directly hit any OTT platform. Denying this as a mere rumor, the makers said that they will update about the movie's release date once the normalcy gets restored.

Orey Bujjiga was actually supposed to release on March 25th, on the occasion of Ugadi. But due to the lockdown of the country, the release got postponed. As it is a small film, people started speculating that it might not get a proper release date once the situation gets to the normal state. Thus, reports started flowing in stating that the film may have a direct OTT release soon. However, makers said that there are just rumors and asked people not to believe them. They also said that the new release date will get announced once the situation gets to the normal state. Orey Bujjiga got directed by Vijay Kumar Konda of Gunde Jaari Gallanthayindhe's fame. It features Malavika Nair and Hebah Patel as the female leads. It is being bankrolled by KK Radhamohan. Anup Rubens has composed the music for it.
