'There Are No Women-Only Issues In Cinema;' Shine Tom Chacko Lashes Out

Actor Shine Tom Chacko says that there is no difference between men and women in cinema. “There are no women-only issues in cinema. There is no point in talking like that.” Shine Tom Chacko said that men and women are not the same in a press conference related to the movie Vichitram.

Shine Tom Chacko was responding to a journalist's question about whether women directors would reduce discrimination in the film industry. "What is the problem that only women have? Men do not have problems. How many come to become actors? Not everyone becomes an actor. It is better for men and women to sit separately." Shine Tom Chacko also asked how mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law quarrel if there is no problem in places where women gather. Other actors from the film, including Balu Varghese and Jolly Chirayat, also participated in the press conference.

The censoring of Shine Tom Chacko's Vichitram has been completed. Directed by Achu Vijayan, the film has received a clean UA certificate. Apart from Shine Tom Chacko, Balu Varghese, and Jolly Chirayam, the film also stars Lal, Kani Kasumi, and Ketaki Narayanan. Scripted by Nikhil Ravindran, the film will hit theatres on October 14.
