The Virgin Tree, directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, features Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, and Palak Tiwari as its leading characters. This project recently began after being announced last month. However, a source revealed a shocking update about a fire outbreak on the movie sets.
Sanjay Dutt, the actor in the movie Bhoomi, entered the world of production by establishing Three Dimension Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. The Virgin Tree was the first movie made under this company's auspices.
“It all happened when Mouni Roy was shooting for her scene when the camera’s light busted, and the set caught fire. The film’s shoot was put to a halt for more than a couple of hours. However, soon afterward the fire brigade team got the situation under control following which no causalities are reported”, a source revealed. The source disclosed the state of the set when questioned. He said that 20 to 30 percent of the set is damaged.
This is not the first time a fire has broken out on the Sanjay Dutt movie set. A similar terrible incident occurred during the filming of a song track for the Aditi Rao Hydari and Sanjay Dutt movie Bhoomi.
The cast of the film includes actors Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, Sunny Singh, Aasif Khan, and Nikunj Lotia in prominent roles. The film is produced by Sanjay Dutt and Deepak Mukut of Soham Rockstar Entertainment. After taking the necessary safeguards, The Virgin Tree will soon start shooting again.
