Charlie Hunnam's new television series, Shantaram's first look is out A fugitive named Lin Ford (Charlie Hunnam) will be the subject of a television series. This will follow his life as a criminal in Bombay, India. The first three episodes of the show will air simultaneously on AppleTV+. It will start to premiere in October of this year.

 
In the first image from the new series, Hunnam is pictured on a motorcycle against what appears to be the Bombay slum. Hunnam's Ford, an Australian prison escapee leading a double life in Bombay. He will be followed throughout the series as he runs a neighborhood clinic during the day. In the night he becomes involved with the Bombay underworld. The 1980s-set story will also follow the protagonist's unusual romance with Karla, a fascinating woman.
 
Shubham Saraf, Elektra Kilbey, Fayssal Bazzi, Luke Pasqualino, Antonia Desplat, Alyy Khan, Sujaya Dasgupta, Vincent Perez, David Field, Alexander Siddig, Gabrielle Scharnitzky, Elham Ehsas, Rachel Kamath, Matthew Joseph, and Shiv Palekar are among the other actors of the programme.
 
As it detailed his journey from being a heroin addict imprisoned for a robbery to escaping prison and finding a new life in Bombay. He had his own challenges. Gregory David Roberts' book went on to become a huge blockbuster. The right to adapt the well-known book sparked a fierce bidding battle.
