Actor Nikhil Siddhartha, who is now reveling in the glory of the action-adventure film Karthikeya2', did not achieve popularity overnight; it took him nearly 20 years. He is claimed to have overcome a number of obstacles on his way to where he is now, from beginning his career as an assistant director for a salary of Rs 1116/- to his film earning a record sum of Rs 100 crores.

 
He is claimed to have received Rs 25000/- for his role as one of four stars in Sekhar Kammula's low-budget film 'Happy Days.' He has numerous minor parts in Telugu films before getting cast as the only lead in 'Ankit, Pallavi & Friends in 2008. He had multiple disappointments until finding success in 2013 with 'Swamy Ra Ra,' directed by Sudheer Varma.
 
The success of 'Swamy Ra Ra' secured him a spot in Tollywood, and he has been experimenting with films and their substance ever since. Despite various ups and downs in his career, he continually created films before becoming another Tollywood Pan-India star.
 
The cast and crew of 'Karthikeya 2' have been touring the country to promote and celebrate the film's success, with Nikhil thanking the audience and delivering a touching address.
 
The mystery adventure action film 'Karthikeya 2' is a sequel to his earlier 2014 film 'Karthikeya,' albeit it does not continue the story of Dr. Karthikeya, who is on a journey to retrieve Lord Krisha's missing anklet.
 
Nikhil Siddhartha is now filming '18 Pages' as well as another Pan-India feature, 'Spy.'
