The Late Sita Ramam Art Director Sunil Babu Receives A Heartbroken Letter From Dulquer Salmaan: 'You Brought Life To Our Films'

Sunil Babu, a well-known art director who worked on films such as Ghajini and Sita Ramam, had a sudden death on Thursday night. He had a heart arrest at the age of 50. The art director apparently had swelling in his leg three days prior to being hospitalized. Dulquer Salmaan, who co-wrote Sita Ramam with Sunil Babu, conveyed his sorrow on social media.

Dulquer Salmaan collaborated with Sunil Babu on two projects: Bangalore Days and Sita Ramam, which was released last year. He directed both of his films' visual arts. In order to express his sorrow, the actor wrote on his Instagram account, “Heart hurts. The kindest warmest soul who quietly went about his work with so much passion and made no noise about his immense talent. Suniletta thank you for the memories. You brought life to our films. Can’t come to terms with this. Praying for your family and all those who loved you dearly.” Sunil Babu worked in the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi film industries as an art director and production designer. Along with other projects, he worked on Thupakki, Bheeshma Parvam, Maharshi, Oopiri, Ghajini, Premam, and Chota Mumbai. He worked on some of the most well-known Hindi films, such as Singh Is King, MS Dhoni, Paa, Lakshya, Special 26, and others.
