This week, it was also nominated for two Golden Globe Awards—the best song and best foreign film.
The Kashmir Files is scripted and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The film portrays the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir. The exodus was following the killings of persons from the community by Pakistan-backed terrorists. The movie debuted on March 11 to mixed reviews and is one of the most popular Hindi movies of the year.
Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are not on the list. The fantasy film was produced on a huge budget. The film had the highest box office collection in Hindi this year.
