The Ghost, directed by Praveen Sattaru, will be released on October 5, 2022. Nagarjuna Akkineni, who is currently receiving accolades for his acting in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, is preparing for this. The legendary actor says of the next film, "It is a very sleek action film. We often use the Japanese sword, and I did prepare for it. A very sleek, adrenaline-filled action movie".
On October 5, The Ghost will release in competition with the political-action movie GodFather, which stars Chiranjeevi. Nagarjuna Akkineni responds, "I have always looked up to him, he has achieved so much, and people just love him there," when asked about this major box office conflict. "He is a mighty opponent, so of course I am worried and anxious. But we know that the festival season is like that. Dussehra festival has traditionally had two to three films released in the last 40-50 years. They do well, now if the film is bad it won’t do well. Even if it's a solo release it won’t do well if the film is bad".
Is there a possibility that he and Naga Chaitanya may work together again on a future project? "Not right now. We did Bangarraju (last), and it was a blockbuster”, said Nagarjuna.
The box office performance of his most recent film, Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva, is excellent. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy all have significant roles in the movie. This fantasy action-adventure film's official sequel has also been revealed.
