The Force Of This Movie Is A Baby, A Baby's Cry; Mahesh Narayanan Talks About The Film Malayankunju

Director Mahesh Narayanan says that the force of 'Malayankunju' is in the cry of a baby named Ponni. In an interview with The Cue, Mahesh Narayanan said that 'Malayankunju' is a story that takes place from the birth of a baby to 28 days. Mahesh Narayanan added that the story is told through the changes that the birth of a baby brings in the life of the main character and the problems that take place in that place.

Mahesh Narayanan said in an interview that Fazil, who is the producer of the film, liked the title 'Malayankunju' from the beginning, and Fazil said that he would go ahead with the same title. Mahesh Narayanan said that the relevancy of the title can be understood only after watching the film.

Mahesh Narayanan said that he "thought about the name 'Malayankunju' many times." He adds; "I was wondering if there would be any kind of problems. Fazil sir liked this title very much. Sir had said that he would go ahead with the name 'Malayankunj'. The relevance of this title comes after watching the movie.

The force of this movie is a baby, a baby's cry. 'Malayankunj' is the story that takes place from the birth of a baby named Ponni to the 28th. The main theme of the movie is the changes that the baby brings to Anikutan and the problems that are happening in that country. Therefore, I felt that the title 'Malayankunju' would do justice to the film."
