Mohanlal said that Barroz is not a Malayalam film or an Indian film, but a film that he has tried to raise to international standards. Mohanlal also said that the film has the backdrop of a Portuguese-Indian relationship. Although it is the second part of Lucifer that is going to be made, it cannot be made as a Malayalam-only film,” said Mohanlal.
Mohanlal added that the film has such great potential and he does not intend to let it go. “Barroz is a 3D movie. This is the first time that such a topic is coming up in India. I am not an aspiring film director. It requires good knowledge and strong faith,” said Mohanlal.
