Fans have been ecstatic ever since Zoya Akhtar unveiled her new OTT movie The Archies. Three new star kids will make their film debut in this one. Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda will all make their big screen debuts with this film. The entire team is celebrating a momentous day today, and to mark the occasion, the filmmakers have unveiled a brand-new image from the film that includes the complete cast. There is also a video of Zoya Akhtar conversing with Jon Goldwater, the creator of the Archie comics.
Suhana Khan can be seen seated in the center of the couch in the previously unreleased image, with a maroon outfit and a light blue waistcoat. She has matched the light pink socks with the same shade of wedges. Agastya Nanda, who is seated next to her, is dressed in a peach-colored blazer over checkered blue pants and a bow. Khushi Kapoor is seated next to him and is dressed in a pink striped full-sleeve tee, checkered pants, and brown oxford shoes. A video of Zoya Akhtar speaking with Jon Goldwater, the man behind the Archie comics, is also available.
Zoya had previously mentioned that she is particularly anxious about the project when discussing The Archies. Zoya said to The Hindu; “I’m currently shooting The Archies as a feature film, and that hopefully will be out next year. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous. I have to make sure the film stokes the nostalgia of a generation that grew up on the comic, and yet resonates with young adults today”. The Archies will make its Netflix debut in 2019.
