Daggubati Venkatesh is doing a film with young director Tharun Bhascker. Ever since Tharun got a hit with his maiden film Pelli Choopulu, he is trying to make a film with Venky. Finally, it looks like it is going to happen soon. The director himself has revealed that Suresh Babu has approved his story and he should finish writing the screenplay of it.
Tharun attended the press meet the other day, to speak about his maiden TV stint Neeku Maatrame Chepta. This is a talk show where various directors come and share their journey of achieving their own goals. Speaking at the event, Tharun said that producer Suresh Babu has already okayed the script he wrote for Venky. He will soon start writing the screenplay of it.
After Pelli Choopulu, Tharun made a buddy comedy called Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. More than during its theatrical run, this film gained cult status when it was out on OTT platforms. After that, he turned as an actor and played a key role in Falaknuma Das. Later, he went to become a lead hero in the film Meeku Maatrame Chepta. Tharun recently directed a segment of Netflix's upcoming anthology Telugu film.
