Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan is finally out in the open and has made a startling start at the box office. In Tamil, the film is raking in solid numbers and has created a few records at the box office in the south. Mani Ratnam has finally made a comeback with PS 1.
The film had a galaxy of stars in key roles and one of them was beauty queen Trisha. She was seen as Kundavi, and her role has received critical acclaim from all quarters. It has been quite some time since we have seen Trisha in films, and she was banking heavily on this period drama to make a comeback.
Now that the film has been well received, Trisha has also benefitted big time. She is once again back in the race and is bagging multiple films in her kitty. As per the Tamil media, she is in consideration for one biggie with a young star hero. Also, the Telugu OTT platform, AHA has approached Trisha for a bilingual series that will be made on a huge scale.
