Thalapathy Vijay is one of the most popular heroes in the Indian cinema who enjoys a massive fan following. He scored a blockbuster recently with the film Bigil, directed by Atlee. Fans call Vijay as Thalapathy and Ilayathalapathy. No one knows how his family addresses him. His father and veteran director SA Chandrashekhar revealed that Vijay's mother and his school friends address him as Jo.
Speaking in a recent interview, SA Chandrashekhar revealed that he has no barriers to religion. He stated that there will be a picture of Mother Mary at their house's entrance and there is also a pooja room as well. He believes in the saying, Love is the True God. He also revealed that Vijay's actual name is Joseph Vijay but they fixed Vijay as the screen name as it is more appealing.
A few days back, there were repros in media stating that Bigil was secretly produced by a famous educational institution head's daughter and, she made many actors and technicians convert into Christianity with the support of Vijay. SA Chandrashekhar denied these rumors and stated that his family respects all the religions.
Vijay is currently acting in the film Master, which is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. This movie hits the theatres on April 9.
