Thalapathy 66 Director Vamshi Paidipally Talks About Directing Vijay For The First Time

Thalapathy Vijay has been shooting for his upcoming film Beast, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film, produced by Sun Pictures, will hit the theatres in summer 2022. Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay surprised everyone by announcing his next film, which is tentatively titled Thalapathy 66. As reported earlier, the film will be directed by Tamil-Telugu director Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dl Raju and Shirish. The title, cast, and crew of the film will be finalized in the coming months. Reportedly, Thalapathy Vijay is getting a record salary of over Rs 100 crore for the film. As is the case of Vamshi, who has reportedly received the highest-ever remuneration in his career.

Recently, Dil Raju, Vamshi, and their family members visited Tirupati temple. Speaking to the media, Vamshi said that he wanted to visit the temple after Maharshi received the National Award, but couldn't due to Covid-19 rules. So now he and Dil Raju have visited the temple after announcing Thalapathy 66. He further added that Thalapathy 66 will be a commercial entertainer with a strong social message. Vamshi added that he feels blessed to have gotten the opportunity to direct Vijay. He promised to share more updates regarding the film in the future.
