Tuesday saw the debut of Bhuvan Bam's Taaza Khabar teaser on Disney+ Hotstar. Vasant Gawde, better known as "Mumbai ka King, Wadala ka Wolf, Thane ka Tiger, Chembur ka Cheetah," introduces himself in the teaser. Additionally, Bhuvan posted the trailer to his Instagram account.
Bhuvan features in the teaser as a sanitation worker. He spends the majority of his time thinking about becoming wealthy and prosperous. One day he discovers that he has the unique ability to know the news before it gets to the public. So he uses it as his key to success. This prompts him to make future predictions, which alters his life in many ways.
He cries back, "Aukaat ke bahar" (way beyond our limits), in response to Shriya Pilgaonkar's character asking him where they are going in a shot from the moving taxi window. Vasant gets beat up in front of us and then we see him go from a local slum dweller to a strongman. He says, "Samajh nhi aarha, ye vardaan he ya shraap?" (I'm not sure if this is a blessing or a curse) at the end of the trailer. "
A comprehensive bundle, Taaza Khabar is hailed as an emotional roller coaster. The series is rife with humor, romance, action, and drama. Himank Gaur directs the show. And it is produced by Rohit Raj and Bhuvan Bam under the name BB Ki Vines productions. The series tells a contemporary story that exposes the boons and banes of miracles.
Talking about the show, Bhuvan Bam said, “Taaza Khabar is a complete entertainer with elements of action, drama, and romance. The show captures the ups and downs of human wishes and wants. This is also my digital debut with Disney+ Hotstar. It is a special feeling in itself. And the love I have received for this is unimaginable, especially from my co-stars. Everyone on set was an expert at their job. But it was a first for me and I'm thankful for all the relationships I cultivated on set. We have worked with all our hearts to bring this story to life. And all I can say is viewers can expect anything and everything from this show.”
Shriya Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, and JD Chakravarthy play major roles in the series. Deven Bhojani, Shilpa Shukla, Prathmesh Parab, and Nitya Mathur are also featured in the new television series. The series premieres on January 6.
