The highly awaited film 'Liger' starring Vijay Deverakonda, helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Puri Jagannadh will release on August 25th. With 'Liger,' Mike Tyson makes his Indian film debut.
The newly released trailer and two singles - Akidi Pakdi and Waat Laga Denge - have multiplied the film's anticipation and expectations, making it the most-anticipated picture in Indian cinema. Vijay Deverakonda and the Liger crew were in a Mumbai mall the other day when a large crowd surprised the Bollywood press and trade.
The team then went to the set of Megastar Chiranjeevi's Godfather. The Godfather crew was filming a song on Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan on a specially constructed set. They have obtained the approval of both Superstars for their flick. Both Superstars wished the squad the best of luck.

The film is being co-produced by Bollywood's renowned production firm Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta are all co-financiers on the project. The remainder of the cast includes Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Pandey, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, and Getup Srinu.
