Taraka Ratna, who hails from the very famous Nandamuri family, was admitted to a Bengaluru hospital after he suffered a severe heart attack recently. While Taraka Ratna could not manage to create a very good film career for himself, he continued to work in the Telugu Desam Party actively, which was founded by his grandfather Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. Taraka Ratna was immediately shifted to Bengaluru’s Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences (Narayana Hrudayalaya). This was after it was diagnosed that he was in a critical state. The incident took place on January 27th. He was shifted to the Bengaluru hospital on the 28th. The actor has been visited by his uncle Balakrishna, and cousin NTR as well. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram also visited Taraka Ratna at the hospital. The hospital released a statement today saying that the actor's condition continues to be critical.
The hospital management also said that his family members are being updated about his condition regularly. Lokesh also visited Taraka Ratna after his day's tour was completed on the 27th.
It was earlier reported that the actor's left artery was closed by 90%. This is the reason for his critical condition. Taraka Ratna is married to Alekhya Reddy and has two daughters with her.
