The online series "Tamilrockerz," is being directed by Arivazhagan, who has also helmed the feature films "Eeram," "Vallinam," and "Kutttram 23," actor Arun Vijay makes his digital debut. On August 23, the series will begin to stream on the OTT platform. The creators of the web series unveiled the official teaser yesterday night, July 17.
The focus of the "Tamilrockerz" trailer is Arun Vijay's portrayal of Rudhran, a police inspector who works to apprehend the persons responsible for movie digital piracy. As a cop, he is tasked with investigating pirated copies of Tamil films that have just opened in theatres or are upcoming.
Since digital piracy has been a contentious problem, everyone can relate to it, so attention is focused on the issue. Ishwarya Menon, Vani Bhojan, Azhagam Perumal, and Vinodhini Vaidyanathan are also featured prominently in the series in addition to Arun Vijay. Manoj Kumar Kalaivanan is the author of the series' narrative.
Tamil Rockerz is directed by Arivazhagan, who has already directed Arun Vijay’s two previous projects, Kuttram 23 and Borrder. The film, Borrder, is yet to be released. Expectations of the web series Tamil Rockerz are sky high as it portrays a real-life piracy network, infamous for pirating movies on the first day itself.
Arun Vijay was last seen in Yaanai, a rural family drama directed by Hari. Agni Siragugal and Sinam are his other works currently under production.
