Tamannaah is no stranger to dealing with wedding rumors. The buzz on the rumor mill was that she was all set to tie the knot with Abdul Razzaq, the cricketer. Recently, the actress was also rumored to be marring a doctor form the US. Tamannaah shot down all the rumors in a recent interview.
The rumors emerged after a picture of Tamannaah and Abdul Razzaq at a jewelry shop surfaced. The photo led the fans to assume that the two were romantically involved. Tamannah shot the rumors down by saying, “ One day it’s an actor, another day it’s a cricketer, and now it’s a doctor. These rumors make it sound like I’m on a husband shopping spree. While I love the idea of being in love, I definitely don’t appreciate baseless news when it comes to my personal life.”
On the work front, Tamannah will next appear in the upcoming Telugu film Seeti Maar. In addition to Tamannah, the film Seetimaar stars Gopichand as the male lead. Gopichand will be playing the role of Kabaddi player. Tamannah will be essaying the role of a women’s kabaddi coach in Seeti Maar. According to Tamannah, her role will be a tribute to iconic Indian coaches like Ramakanth Achrekar, Pullela Gopichand, and Satpal Singh. The Seeti Marr team has finished shooting 60% of the film. The film shoot stands halted due to the coronavirus outbreak. According to sources, the film will resume shooting as soon as the COVID-19 outbreak subsides.
Tamannah is also starring in the Telugu remake of the hit Bollywood film Queen. The film titled This is Mahalakshmi is being directed by Prashanth Varma. The film also stars actors Shibani Dandekar, Roopa Lakshmi, Samarth Ashok Hegde, Geetanjali, and CVL Narasimha Rao in supporting roles.
