Vijay Varma received recognition for his work in Jasmeet K. Reen's Darlings. He acted alongside Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, and Roshan Mathew. Pinkvilla recently reported that he will next be featured in Lust Stories 2. The segment will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh. In this project is supported by Netflix, Ronnie Screwvala, and Ashi Dua. According to rumors, Sujoy has cast Tamannaah Bhatia as the female lead. It is an anthology movie.
A person familiar with the situation claims that Tamannaah and Vijay will begin filming the following month. Closer to the shooting date, they will begin the research and preparation. The Baahubali actress reportedly visited Sujoy Ghosh's workplace at one point. Sujoy Ghosh and Tamannaah Bhatia are collaborating for the first time in this project. Yet, Vijay and Sujoy had already worked together before. They collaborated in the Devotion of Suspect X. It is a Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat-costarring film.
Pinkvilla had revealed that R Balki already has wrapped up filming for his part of Lust Stories 2. It has cast Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi, and Neena Gupta. Amit Ravindernath Sharma's segment features Kajol as the star. Konkona Sen Sharma's short features Tillotama Shome and Amruta Subhash. Directors Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, and Dibakar Banerjee worked on Lust Stories 1.
The next film Babli Bouncer by director Madhur Bhandarkar will include Tamannaah Bhatia.
