A few months ago, actor Suriya announced that four of his films from his production house, 2D Entertainment, will skip theatrical release and will premiere on Amazon Prime Video starting from September. As the first release, Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum will premiere on September 24. Ahead of the film's launch, the Suriya took to social media to launch the trailer of the film. Directed by Arisil Moorthy, Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum is tipped to be a satire film that deals with the odd events that happen in a village. The film stars Ramya Pandian, Vani Bhojan, Mithun Manickam, and Vadivel Murugan in lead roles.

Director Arisil Moorthy, in a statement, said, "This film is very close to my heart and the cast and crew have worked tirelessly to bring to life a heartfelt story. The trailer is a sneak-peak into the small yet chaotic universe of the protagonist Kunnimuthu. I am excited for its premiere on Amazon Prime Video which will help us take the film to an international audience at once.
