Suriya Lends A Helping Hand In The Nadigar Sangam Building Construction Project

Suriya was recently the talk of the town after winning Best Actor at the National Awards for 'Soorarai Pottru.' He recently created the family rural drama 'Viruman,' which starred Karthi and Aditi Shankar. The film, directed by Muthiah, has grossed Rs 26 crore at the box office since its August 12 premiere.

Suriya is said to have contributed Rs 25 lakh from the earnings of 'Viruman' to the Nadigar Sangam building construction. On August 14, the 'Jai Bhim' actor and his brother Karthi attended the Nadigar Sangam's 6th Executive Committee meeting.

Suriya then gave Rs 25 lakh from the ‘Viruman's’ proceeds to Nadigar Sangam for the purpose of erecting a new structure. Nasser, Karunas, Poochi Murugan, Sachu, and other actors and executives were present at the event.

Suriya has a few projects in the works, including 'Vaadivaasal,' 'Vanangaan,' an unnamed film with director Siva, and a new project with Sudha Kongara. Suriya appears to have a steady stream of releases in 2023.
