Suriya Completes Director Pandiraj's Etharkkum Thuninthavan In 51 Days

Suriya was last seen in director Sudha Kongara Prasad's Soorarai Pottru, which was released directly on Amazon Prime Video. The actor has signed a slew of films, which are at different stages of production. He recently shot for his upcoming film Jai Bhim, which will release on Amazon Prime Video in November. Earlier this year, Suriya started shooting for director Pandiraj's Etharkkum Thuninthavan in Karaikudi. After shooting for 51 days, the shooting of the film has been wrapped up. Director Pandiraj took to Twitter to share the news with his followers. The rural entertainer is said to revolve around the Pollachi sexual abuse issue.

Taking to Twitter on August 31, director Pandiraj wrote,

Suriya will play the role of a person who will safeguard women in our society. Produced by Sun Pictures, Etharkkum Thuninthavan features Priyanka Arul Mohan, Soori, Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, and Ilavarasu, among others. Suriya now concentrates on Jai Bhim and Vetri Maaran's Vaadi Vaasal, which is based on Jallikattu.
