Superstar Rajnikanth’s upcoming film ‘Thalaivar 168’ has picked up its shooting schedule

Amongst release promotions of ‘Darbar’ which is set to release in January 2020, Superstar Rajnikanth has already begun shooting for his upcoming film. Under Siruthai Siva’s direction, the film is tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 168’. This film is being produced by the Sun Pictures banner. The star cast of the film includes Sathish in a comic role and Prakash Raj as the main villain. Rumour has it that actor Khushbu will be playing superstar’s love interest in the film. Keerthy Suresh is endorsed to be playing Thalaivar’s daughter and Meena has also been signed for an important role.

The film shoot began with a song shoot, under D Imman’s composition and sung by SP Balasubrahmanyam. Under the first schedule, both D Imman and Khushbu have tweeted their excitement upon beginning their shoot. With the upcoming Darbar release in January and Thalaivar 168’s promising commercial hype, Superstar is all set for yet another year of fandom in the Tamil film fraternity. This movie is anticipated to hit the theatres for next year’s Diwali.
