A student misbehaved with actress Aparna Balamurali. The incident took place at the inauguration of a law college union. Its video is widely circulated on social media. In the video, you can see Aparna expressing her displeasure and suppressing her anger towards the student who was holding her hand.
Along with the inauguration of the union, Aparna came to the college for the promotion of the movie Thankam. Actor Vineeth Sreenivasan, music director Bijipal, and other crew members were also present. The student, who came to the stage to give flowers to Aparna, held the actress's hand and lifted her up, trying to put her hand on her shoulder. When the young man is about to put his hand on her shoulder again, Aparna cuts her off and asks, "Why isn't this a law college?" Later, he apologised to Aparna, one of the organizers.
But when he came back to the stage, the student said that he did not do anything else and was trying to take a photo as a fan. In the video, Aparna refuses to shake hands with the young man, who again extends his hand. Then the young man tries to shake Vineeth's hand. But Vineeth, who did not give a hand, can be seen in the video telling the student to go away. This video is now widely circulated on social media.
Meanwhile, Thankam is a film directed by debutant Saheed Arafat. Biju Menon and Vineeth Srinivasan play the lead roles. The film will hit theatres on January 26. The screenplay is by Shyam Pushkaran. Dileesh Pothan, Fahad Fazil, and Shyam Pushkaran are producing Thangam under the banner of Bhavana Studios.
