Sources close to Gautham Menon gives an update on Vikram's Dhruva Natchathiram shoot

Dhruva Natchathiram is one of the most anticipated projects in Tamil cinema. Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, this film features Vikram in the lead role. Even though the film went on floors about three years back, it got stalled due to some financial issues. Now, we hear that the film is going back on track again. Almost 90% of the shoot got wrapped up and only a few portions are remaining to get filmed. As soon as wrapping up the shoot, the post-production works will also begin. Thus, Vikram is re-joining the film to complete his works.

Dhruva Natchathiram marks the first time collaboration between Gautham Menon and Vikram. The film features Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, Simran and Radhika in the other prominent roles. The makers are planning to release it by summer this year. Currently, Gautham is busy wrapping up the shoot of his ongoing film Joshua: Imai Pol Kaakha, featuring Varun as the lead. This film will hit the screens in April or May. On the other side, Vikram is busy wrapping up the works of his upcoming film Cobra, which is planning to release on May 22. Vikram is sporting multiple getups in this film. Apart from that, he is also working for Mani Ratnam's dream project Ponniyin Selvan. Vikram's fans are very disappointed to learn that the film is going to get delayed a lot. However, they can be happy now since the team is planning to resume the shoot very soon.
