Sobhita Dhulipala will be cast in Mahesh Babu's production debut 'Major'

There have been media reports coming in that the model and actress Sobhita Dhulipala is all set to join the cast in Mahesh Babu's production debut 'Major'. The film is Sashi Kiran directorial and the story revolves around the 26/11 massacre and Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Actor Adivi Sesh plays the lead role in the film. Sobhita Dhulipala mentioned that her role in this bilingual film is amazing detailed and that she loves her characterization. Her words read, “The arc of my character in 'Major' is impeccably detailed and done with honesty. 'Goodachari', my debut film in Telugu went on to become a critical and commercial success, so it is doubly wonderful for me to reunite with the same team for a film as feisty as 'Major'.” The actress will be reuniting with "Goodachari" director Sashi Kiran and the hero as well. The director quoted, “I am happy to collaborate with Sobitha after our Telugu superhit 'Goodachari'. It is exciting that we are doubling our challenges for a Major in Hindi.” The film ‘Major’ draws inspiration from Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's life, a national hero and NSG commando who lost his life in the 26/11 terrorist attack in Mumbai. The film will release for both Telugu and Hindi audiences. Mahesh Babu's debutant production film, under the banner Sony Pictures Films India, in collaboration with GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies. The film is set for a 2020 theatrical release.
