Director Selvaraghavan's Nenjam Marappathillai movie is produced by popular filmmaker Gautham Menon. Since Gautham Menon and P Madan (another producer) have been stuck in financial trouble for the past few years, Nenjam Marapathillai has been lying on the shelves for nearly three years.
According to the latest update, Nenjam Marappathillai will release soon in the coming months. It has been rumored that producer Ishari Ganesh of Vels Films International has bought the film out of the trouble and is now overseeing the work to release the film in a smooth way.
Nenjam Marappathillai features SJ Suryah, Regina Cassandra, Nandita Swetha, Bobby Simhaa and Premgi Amaren in the lead roles. Selvaraghavan also hailed Yuvan Shankar Raja's music in the film.
A few years ago, Selvaraghavan's ardent fans took to Twitter to quiz him about the release of the film. He wrote, "Deeply touched by all your queries about the release of Nenjam Marappathillai. Soon. Very soon! The release date is not in the director's hands. The producer owns the film and Madan sir knows the best. Thank you for your patience and faith (sic)"
