Sivakarthikeyan supports Tiruppur collector for Doctor update

Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film Doctor was supposed to release in theatres o March 26. However, due to the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, the makers decided to postpone the film's release. Earlier this week, the makers of Doctor announced that Doctor will have a grand release during the festival of Eid. Recently, Tiruppur collector Vijayakarthikeyan has been raising awareness among people about the importance of wearing mask and voting. Recently, he shared a post on Twitter with the hashtag #ValimaiUpdate and spoke about the importance of voting.

As expected, the post went viral, thanks to Ajith's ardent fans. Recently, Vijayakarthikeyan posted another poster by using Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor poster. In the poster, Sivakarthikeyan can be seen wearing a mask and urged everyone else to wear masks during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Sivakarthikeyan shared the poster and wrote, "Brother @Vijaykarthikeyn neenga Vera. its a really good initiative and I’m also joining you in this... Request everyone who goes out to vote pls #WearMaskAndVote (sic)." Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and is tipped to be a medical thriller. The film also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Vinay Rai, Archana Chandhoke and others in supporting roles.
