Sivakarthikeyan gets mother's blessings after Kalaimamani award

Actor Sivakarthikeyan is one of the Tamil actors who won the prestigious Kalaimamani award bestowed by the Tamil Nadu government. The entire Tamil film industry congratulated Sivakarthikeyan, Aishwarya Rajesh and several other actors who won the Kalaimamani award this year. Recently, Sivakarthikeyan received the award from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edapadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam. He shared the stage with them and also cheered other celebrities who won the Kalaimamani award.

After winning the award, Sivakarthikeyan came home to his mom and gave it to her. In the picture, he can also be seen falling at his mother's feet with a photo of his father in the background. His tweet is translated as, "Having left directionless after the demise of my father, it was my mother who worked hard to help us reach where we are today. I dedicate the honour to her. He also thanked the Tamil Nadu government for the award." Sivakarthikeyan also added that this award will be a motivation for him to perform better in the upcoming films. He is presently waiting for the release of his upcoming film Doctor, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
