National Award-winning actor Dhanush's Telugu-Tamil bilingual film 'SIR'/'Vaathi' is being produced on a large scale with rich production values and will be released in theatres on February 17, 2023.
The makers released the film's first song, 'Mastaaru Mastaaru' in Telugu and 'Vaa Vaathi' in Tamil (both composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar and sung by Shweta Menon), a few days ago, and it received a positive response.
The film, directed by Venky Alluri, also stars Samyuktha Menon. Supporting parts are played by Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, and Narra Srinivas. It is being produced by Sithara Entertainment in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas.
The teaser for the film, which depicts Dhanush as a junior lecturer, was released some time ago and received a massive response.
