Sushant Singh Rajput's death on June 14 has sparked a huge conversation about nepotism in Bollywood. What started as a debate about privileged actors in the industry has now turned into an overarching theme that spans the entire Hindi film industry. Now singer Adnan Sami has taken to Instagram to slam the music and mohie mafia in the Hindi film industry. Sami believes that new talent is exploited in the industry without giving credit.
Sami wrote, "The Indian Film & Music Industry SERIOUSLY needs a 'Herculean' SHAKE UP. Especially in the context of music, New Singers, Veteran Singers, Music Composers & Music Producers - who are being exploited to the HILT!! "Fall into the DICTAT or you're OUT"... Why is creativity beyond "CONTROLLED" by those you have no clue about 'creativity' & are trying to play GOD??"

Previously singer Sonu Nigam also criticised the same mafia for controlling the industry. Nigam also said that it drives many to the brink of suicide.
