Thank God, directed by Indra Kumar and starring Sidharth Malhotra, Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Nora Fatehi, was released last year. Although the movie did good at the box office, it did manage to generate a lot of talks online. In fact, the movie's music quickly caught on as a trend on social media. Now we learn that the director has enlisted Sidharth for yet another romantic comedy.
According to a reliable industry insider, "Yes, Indra Kumar is planning another rom-com with Sidharth Malhotra." The source added, “Indra Kumar had initially approached Sidharth for the new venture while they were still working on Thank God. It was during the last leg of the film’s shoot when the duo had reached a verbal agreement on the venture. Currently, both Kumar and Malhotra have begun talks again for the venture.”
When asked the source for information about the new rom-com being prepared and he continues, “The film will feature a big ensemble cast. However, Sidharth Malhotra will be seen playing one of the male leads who has a primary role in the film. Essentially, he will be seen leading the cast of the new project.”
There hasn't been an official declaration of it yet. The source indicates that one would be made as soon as Indra Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra come to a decision. As of right now, Sidharth is scheduled to appear in Mission Majnu. He also has Yodhat, in which he will co-star alongside Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna.
