Actor Asif Ali says that director Sibi Malayil is a guru who taught some lessons that are not taught in any university. Asif Ali's social media post comes after the release of her fourth film Kothu with Sibi Malayil. Kothu stars Asifali, Roshan Mathew and Nikhila Vimal in lead roles. Screenplay for the film Kothu is written by Hemand Kumar.
Asif Ali says that there are some teachers who enter your life without your knowledge. Asif Ali added that Sibi Malayil is one such teacher for him. “There are some teachers who come into our life without our knowledge... They will teach us some lessons that are not taught in any university... They will surprise us by talking about what is outside the syllabus...Sibi sir is such a teacher for me. Reviews are coming that political observers, family audience, youth, etc. have accepted this film with open arms. Sibi sir has proved that he is a director capable of presenting the character's heart feelings to the audience in the most beautiful and convincing manner, through so many good films...
