Shraddha Kapoor will play the role of Rukhsana Kausar, a courageous heart from Jammu and Kashmir famous for killing LeT terrorists, as per reports.
Shraddha Kapoor, a gifted actress who previously played the part of Haseena Parkar, has taken on yet another bold story based on real life. Shraddha will be seen in the movie as the courageous young woman from Kashmir named Rukhsana, who murdered a militant from the Lashkar-E-Taiba (LeT). Earlier, a source close to the actress revealed, "Makers of the film wanted someone who would look like a 20-year-old onscreen to play Rukhsana. Shraddha undoubtedly will do justice to the role. And hence she has been roped into the movie. Shraddha's role in the film is completely opposite of what she has portrayed in most of her movies."
For the unknown, Rukhsana Kausar, a resident of the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, was in her 20s when, in 2009, she used an axe to kill LeT terrorist Abu Osama and forced his accomplices to leave by firing at them after grabbing a firearm from them. People all over the nation praised her for her bravery. She developed into a popular role model. Rukhsana is now a police constable, a police officer's wife, and a mother to three daughters.
Shraddha Kapoor, an award-winning actress, will next be seen in the highly awaited Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. The movie will feature Ranbir Kapoor as the main lead. It will be released in theatres on March 8, 2023. She is also working on Stree 2, the eagerly anticipated sequel to Amar Kaushik's Stree.
