According to the sources, the major part of the shoot will take place in Varanasi. We hear that Sara Ali Khan is playing a dual role in the film. While one of her characters will fall in love with Dhanush in Madhurai, her other character will have a love story with Akshay Kumar in Varanasi. However, the makers remained tightlipped about this rumor. A few weeks back, Sara Ali Khan posted a few adorable pictures of her with Dhanush and Akshay Kumar, which created a lot of curiosity about the film. Atrangi Remarks the reunion of Dhanush and Aanand L Rai after the 2013 film Raanjhanaa. This film is the first project for both Akshay and Sara, with Aanand L Rai. Oscar Award-winning composer AR Rahman is composing the music for this film. Atrangi Re will hit the screen on February 14th, 2021, on the occasion of Valentine's Day.
