The much-anticipated trailer for Shehzada was presented by the film's creators on Thursday at Mumbai's Gaiety Galaxy after much anticipation. Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, who reunited on screen in the 2019 romance comedy Luka Chuppi, were present. The two actors have gotten along well over time, and their friendship was evident during the film's production. Following the trailer, the two of them discussed teaming once again while being applauded by the audience.
“Kartik Aaryan and I look pretty good together, don’t we?” Kriti Sanon addressed the crowd at the press conference on Thursday afternoon. Kartik wondered whether the crowd was happy or sad as they cheered. " They are happy", he said.
“It was lovely working with him. He is a friend and I am comfortable working with him. It was as entertaining an experience as the film was. Rohit [Dhawan] has worked extremely hard on this," Kriti Sanon continued. She said, “I cannot call him lambi tango wala toh I can say he is educated, talented, Tota Patola.. and cutetola”,
when asked to describe him.
Kartik Aaryan talked about how people praised his on-screen connection with Kriti Sanon in Luka Chuppi, and hoped Shehzada would receive the same love.
The 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was remade in Hindi as Shehzada. Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde were the movie's original stars. Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar are also included in the Hindi adaptation. Pritam composed the song, which was directed by Rohit Dhawan.
