Shefali Shah is now enjoying her recently released film Darlings' success. Shefali, who portrayed Alia Bhatt's mother Shamshunissa "Shamshu" Ansari in the movie, has received praise for her performance. Roshan Mathew and Vijay Varma both played significant roles in the movie. It recently made its OTT platform Netflix premiere. The actress, who previously tested positive for the coronavirus, recently informed her fans on Instagram that she has since tested negative for the virus.
The Dil Dhadakne Do actress wrote: "YASSSSSS!!! I HAVE TESTED NEGATIVE. I'm absolutely fine, and can resume work now. Thanks to the doctors and Thank you so so much everyone for your blessings, prayers, concern and love. Please stay safe and take care of yourselves." Her friends and followers expressed their affection for her in the comments section shortly after she posted the update. A user wrote: "This is great news for the day I'm so happy sending lots of love." Another user said: "Congratulations mam." While a third user wrote: "Take care Shefali...Waiting for Delhi Crime 2 to release."
Shefali has won the Best Actress prize for Jalsa at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2022. She posted this in her news post: "What a win! For me, Team Jalsa wins equality in films award and best actress for me. Thank you @iffmelbourne and all of you for all the love you’ll have showered on #Jalsa. It truly is a celebration of our passion and hard work and all your love."
On the job front, Shefali will appear in Delhi Crime 2, which will begin streaming on Netflix on August 26. In addition to this, the actress will star in Doctor G with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh.
