Sharwanand Lands In The Middle Of Social Media Uproar After Political Tweet

After tweeting a political tweet today, Tollywood actor Sharwanand found himself at the center of a social media uproar. He is renowned for his logical and honourable films. Sharwanand tweeted,

I once read somewhere that 'The great aim of education is not knowledge but action'.

Sharwanand's post has put him in the middle of a debate despite being politically indifferent. As is evident from the tweet above, he supports the Telangana government's new welfare program. The program aims to raise the state's school enrollment and literacy rate. The program is said to be already having an impact. The seemingly innocuous tweet has triggered opposition in a major way. Members of a national party were quick to point out that he was biased. His detractors began mocking him for his ignorance of state operations as soon as he posted the tweet. And others even threatened his films in Telangana. They wrote,

The attempts to drag honorable people into political disputes for trivial reasons were also deplored. A few people use the hashtag "Maa Zilla Maa Kastalu" to inform him about their Telangana troubles.
