Young director Ajay Bhupathi made a solid debut with the super hit film Rx100. Starring Karthikeya and Payal Rajput in the lead roles, this film released with low expectations and ended up becoming a box office hit. But unfortunately, Ajay Bhupathi has been unable to take his second film on floors so far. He is trying to make a film called Maha Samudram for the last one year but it is getting postponed due to the constant change of the leads. The latest we hear is that Sai Pallavi and Sharwanand will play the lead roles in this movie. It this happens to be right, it will be the second film of the pair, after Padi Padi Leche Manasu.
Ajay has approached various actors to play the lead roles in Maha Samudram. At first, it was reported that Ram will play the lead role in it. Then came the names of Nithiin, Sidharth, Ravi Teja, and Aditi Rao Hydari. But none of them got finalized. Recently, it was reported that Naga Chaitanya would play the lead while his wife Samantha Akkineni would essay the heroine role. But now, even they have walked out of the project. Finally, the film has fallen into the laps of Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi. Apparently, both the actors are quite interested in doing this film. We will get an official announcement once they sign the dotted lines.
Meanwhile, Sharwanand is currently awaiting the release of his next film Sreekaram. On the flip side, Sai Pallavi is working for the films Love Story and Virata Parvam.
