'Prasthanam' is a 2010 released political action drama film written and directed by Deva Katta.
Sharwanand, Sai Kumar,
Sundeep Kishan, and Ruby Parihar played the main leads in the film.
The film won three Filmfare Awards. Prasthanam was also selected for screening in the Indian Panorama section at the International Film Festival of India, Goa. The story revolves around a young man who hates his stepbrother who is loyal and obedient to their father. He tries to find different ways to take revenge from his stepbrother. The engaging story and gripping screenplay succeeded in making 'Prasthanam' one of the biggest hits in the Telugu Film Industry. The film got released on 16th April 2010 and it has been 10 years since the release of the film. Sharwanand posted a picture of him from the same and tweeted the same. The fans have been remembering some iconic scenes and dialogues from the film on social media.
The film got remade in Hindi with the same title directed by Deva Katta, with
Sanjay Dutt and Ali Fazal as the leads. It is also being remade into Bengali with Arifin Shuvo and Ilias Kanchan.
