Young Malayalam actor Shane Nigam got popular in the industry for his films like Kismat, C/O Saira Bhanu, Eeda and Kumbalangi Night. He is often called as one of the promising talents of Malayalam cinema. But this 24-year-old actor got stuck in a fuss after the Producer Council of Kerala has banned him for not following the physical requirements of his film Veyil.
Apparently, Shane had got haircut against his look from Veyil. This has angered the producer of the film and that led him to get banned from the industry. But due to the support of many actors and Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), Shane has come out of this controversy. Now, he is coming up with his new film Ullasam, directed by Jeevan Jojo. This movie's shoot has got wrapped up long back, but the post-production works got halted due to the controversy.
After everything got cleared, Shane completed the dubbing of the film. Now, the film is all set for the release. The makers will announce the release details soon. Ullasam is the story of two youngsters meeting on a road trip and falling in love. Debutant Pavitra Lakshmi has played the female lead role in it.
