The film and television associations of the country have decided to halt all the shootings until the 31st of this month. This decision has got taken in order to fight the spread of ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Thus, the entire entertainment industry has come to a halt now. Actors and technicians are doing no work and are staying safe at home. Popular television actress Kamya Punjabi who earned fame with Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki stated that she is going to spend her time at home and also urged everyone to do the same. She said that the government is doing its best and we, as citizens, should help our officials and follow their instructions. She also added that people should stop forwarding messages on Whatsapp without any fact-check.
Kamya added that her husband works in the pharma industry and she knows how the government and the medical industries are working right now. Kavya is best known for her stint in Bigg Boss Hindi and soap-opera Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. Kamya said that her producers took great care of all the crew while shooting. They ensured that safety measures got taken on the sets. They didn't even ask the cast and crew to work for double shifts. They shot in regular timings and called off the shoot when the government gave an order.
Kamya said that she used to carry her own food to ensure the safety of her health. She further added that it might be a bit sad for the viewers as they may not get a chance to watch new episodes for a while. But she stated that safety comes first than anything.
