Shahid Kapoor hits the ball out of the park as he shares sneak peek from the film’s prep
Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur will get directed by Gowtam Tinnanauri, who also helmed the 2019 original film, starring Nani in the lead.
Shahid Kapoor took to social media to post a video wherein we can see him practicing cricket and hitting the ball straight out of the park. Alongside the video, Shahid wrote, “Jersey #prep.”
As soon as Shahid Kapoor posted the video, baby brother Ishaan Khatter left a comment as he wrote, “Shoooooot.” Talking about Jersey, Gowtam Tinnanauri will direct the Hindi version, who also helmed the 2019 original film, starring Nani in the lead. A few days back, it had confirmed that Super 30 fame Mrunal Thakur will pair opposite Shahid in the film and looking at the original version, Mrunal’s character will be the anchor to Shahid’s.
Talking about the film, Shahid had said in an interview that, “It took me some time to decide what to do next after Kabir Singh. But the minute I saw Jersey, I knew I wanted it to be my next. It is a wonderful, inspiring and a personal human journey that I connected with deeply.”
