Bollywood had a challenging year, but it is now over. For 2023 releases, a number of intriguing actor-director teams will work together for the first time. Shahid Kapoor and Anees Bazmee are also collaborating on a "big-ticket" comedy, adding to the list.
Anees is prepared to work with Shahid Kapoor for the first time, as per the reports. According to a source, “Anees and Shahid are a collaboration that was always meant to happen. It’s a proper commercial comic entertainer and Shahid is excited to enter the world of Anees Bazmee cinema. The film in question will be Bazmee’s immediate next film and will kick off in the first quarter of 2023.”
The report went on to say that Anees is also interested in Shahid's comedic side. It is important to note, though, that neither the actor nor the director has made any official statements to confirm their working relationship.
In terms of his work life, Kapoor was last spotted in Jersey, standing next to Mrunal Thakur. Despite being a remake of a popular 2019 movie, the movie did poorly at the box office. Pankaj Kapoor was a part of the sports drama along with Mrunal and Shahid.
Shahid will be featured in the lead role of the Ali Abbas Zafar film Bloody Daddy, which is one of his future projects. The upcoming movie, which will be available on streaming services, will be a thriller.
