Sasikumar And Hari Priya's Naan Mirugamai Maaran To Release In November

M Sasikumar and Kannada actress Hari priya will play lead roles in director Sathya Sivaa's Naan Mirugamai Maara. The film traces the story of a common man who undergoes a transformation after a series of incidents. While Sasikumar will be seen as a sound engineer, Hari Priya will be seen as his housewife. Vikranth will be seen as the antaonist.

Talking about his role at a press meet in Chennai, Sasikumar said, “The title is synonymous with the story of the film. It is all about how a common man is triggered by a mixture of emotions and unpleasant events that transforms him into a violent animal. The film has more violence and the director had cast me on seeing my performance in one of my previous films, in which I beheaded the antagonist."

Actress Haripriya said, "The director approached me after watching my Kannada film 'Bell Bottom’ and I immediately accepted the offer, since the script was too good. Actually, I took a break from Tamil cinema due to my busy schedule in Kannada films. Meanwhile, I'm also listening to Tamil Scripts and if they meet my expectations, I'll proceed with it. ‘Naan Mirugamai Maara' is one such project that impressed me. I received a lot of inputs from Sasikumar sir since he is not just an actor but also a director and it’s really nice to be back in the Tamil industry.."
